Pierre-Marc René is a journalist based in Mexico. He has extensive experience reporting on themes of national and international importance for media in Mexico and Canada, his country of origin. He specialises in environment, diplomacy, human rights, international trade and energy. He was sent to Haiti in 2010 to cover the aftermath of the earthquake. He holds degrees in journalism, communications and Spanish.
